Guys – You know having a masculine, stylish image is super important – to make a great first impression, to crush it at work, to finally get your dream-girl to go out with you, and to look like the stud that you know you are. Putting your best foot forward will increase your confidence and you’ll see a massive return. A gentlemen knows his style.
But – upgrading our image takes time, right? You’re super busy. We all are. And it can seem damn intimidating when you don’t know where to start. Until now.

- Tailor Your Clothes
You don’t need to go out and buy a whole new wardrobe. The best way to immediately look taller, slimmer, and more macho is to be wearing clothes that fit. Take your dress shirts, blazers, pants, and denim to a tailor. Get your shirts and blazers tailored to fit you like a glove. Get your pants hemmed and tapered. Tailoring clothes is a perfect way to make that old wardrobe seem brand new again – without breaking the bank. But, if your shirt looks more like a dishrag than a button-down… toss it. - Get a Real Haircut
Not all haircuts are made equal – we’ll talk more on that later… but you’ll want to get a haircut from a top-notch barber. Sure, they’ll cost a bit more ($30-50), but it’s totally worth it. You get what you pay for. Do some research on great barbershops nearby, and shop around. You’ll be amazed at the difference. Say no to Supercuts. - Shine Your Shoes
Ladies notice shoes a lot more than we do. So, if you want motivation… there it is. But in all seriousness, your shoes are the foundation for your look… and they need to be cared for appropriately. Make sure your sneakers are clean so you’re rocking them in style. Clean and polish your dress shoes. It’s amazing how a bit of care and polish can make dress shoes look brand new. Oh – and if your dress shoes have a square toe. Toss them. - Get Facial Hair Under Control
I love rocking a beard. My wife does not love me rocking a beard. But – I have a massive appreciation for being able to grow a badass beard and am all for it. That said, you still need to groom it and take care of it. You wash and condition your hair… you need to give your beard the same love. Trim it to keep it managed, and make sure you’re shaving your neck. Nothing screams “I’m homeless” more than a neck beard. Oh… and, if you’re eyebrows look like Einstein’s hair… get ‘em under control unless you never want a second date. Ever. - Accessorize
Now, I don’t mean bling out like an 80s rockstar… but there’s nothing more stylish than rocking an awesome watch – or wearing stylish cufflinks with the suit you just had tailored. Don’t go out of control – but a few extras show you care about the details. A great place to start? Try a pocket square next time you wear your suit (and unlike the header image, don’t have it match your tie…).
